| Introduction |
| |
| bascat is a program that will convert BBC BASIC files to text. It has |
| been written and tested on Linux with GCC 2.7.2. It has also been |
| compiled in the past on IRIX, Solaris and OSF/1. If you try it on any |
| other system, I'd be grateful for your feedback. |
| |
| |
| Copyright |
| |
| Both bascat and mdwopt are covered by the GNU General Public Licence. |
| As such they come with NO WARRANTY, unless this program has been provided |
| to you by someone willing to provide you with one. |
| |
| |
| Installation |
| |
| This should be fairly simple. Edit the Makefile to set the desired |
| CFLAGS, and possibly change the name of your C compiler. Type 'make'. |
| You now have a program called 'bascat'. It has no external files and |
| does not need to be installed into any particular place. Copy it to |
| somewhere in your path (/usr/local/bin works great for me. If you're |
| not privileged to install stuff there, try $HOME/bin) |
| |
